Do you offer both wedding photography and videography?

Yes — we are a husband-and-wife team offering both wedding photography and cinematic wedding films across Hobart and all of Tasmania. Having one cohesive team capturing both photo and film ensures your day feels seamless, relaxed, and consistently documented without competing creatives or awkward coordination.

How would you describe your photography and film style?

Our style is fun, refined, and deeply story-driven. We focus on genuine moments, natural direction, and honest emotion rather than stiff posing or overly staged scenes. The goal is to create timeless images and films that feel like your actual day — not a performance.

Where are you based and do you travel for weddings?

We’re based in Hobart and regularly capture weddings all across Tasmania, including the East Coast, Launceston, the Huon Valley, and destination locations. We absolutely love travelling for weddings and are always happy to photograph or film celebrations in unique and meaningful locations.

Do you charge travel fees for Tasmania weddings?

Travel within 50km of Hobart is included in our collections. For weddings further away, we provide a clear and transparent travel quote before booking so there are no surprises during your planning process.

How do we book you for our wedding?

Booking is simple. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send through a booking proposal which includes your contract and retainer invoice. Your date is officially secured once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid.

How do payments work?

We keep our payment process flexible and stress-free. We accept bank transfer, credit/debit card, and PayPal. Many of our couples choose to pay in instalments leading up to the wedding so it feels manageable rather than one large payment at the end.

How many photos will we receive?

Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive several hundred carefully edited, high-resolution images that tell the complete story of their day — from the quiet in-between moments to the big celebrations.

We prioritise quality, storytelling, and emotional impact over overwhelming you with unnecessary duplicates.

When will we receive our wedding photos and film?

We know how exciting it is to relive your wedding day, and we put a lot of care into our editing process to ensure everything feels polished and timeless.

Our typical delivery timeframes are:

• Wedding photography: 4–6 weeks

• Wedding film: 6–8 weeks

During peak wedding season in Tasmania, delivery may vary slightly, but we always prioritise quality over rushing your memories.

How will our photos be delivered?

Your wedding photos are delivered via a beautiful online gallery through Pic-Time. From your gallery, you can:

• Download high-resolution images

• Share with family and friends

• Order professional prints and albums

• Access your memories anytime, anywhere

Do you include wedding albums or prints in your collections?

We don’t include albums or prints in our standard collections — and that’s a very intentional choice.

There are incredible specialist companies who focus entirely on album design and fine art printing. From colour accuracy and paper types to textures, cover materials, and archival quality, there is a lot that goes into creating a truly beautiful heirloom piece.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all option, we prefer to focus our full energy on capturing your story. That said, your Pic-Time gallery makes it easy to order professional-quality prints and albums directly if you wish.

Do you help with our wedding timeline?

Absolutely. Once you’re booked, we guide you through your photography and videography timeline to ensure the day flows naturally and you get the best possible light, coverage, and breathing room without feeling rushed.

This is especially helpful for sunset portraits and planning a relaxed, enjoyable wedding experience.

Do you pose couples during portraits?

We use gentle, natural direction rather than stiff or overly posed setups. Our approach helps you feel comfortable, present, and genuinely connected so your photos feel authentic instead of forced.

Most of our couples say they were nervous about being in front of the camera — and then end up loving the experience.

Have you photographed many weddings in Hobart and Tasmania?

Yes — we regularly photograph and film weddings across Hobart and throughout Tasmania. From waterfront venues and vineyards to private properties and intimate elopements, we have extensive experience working in a wide range of locations and lighting conditions.

Do you bring backup equipment?

Always. We bring multiple professional cameras, lenses, audio equipment, lighting, and backups to every wedding. Your memories are far too important to risk, and preparation is a huge part of our workflow.

Will you be the ones photographing and filming our wedding?

Yes. When you book with us, you are booking us — not an associate team. We are a husband-and-wife duo who personally capture every wedding we take on, which means consistent quality, communication, and a genuine connection with our couples.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes, and we absolutely love them. Engagement sessions are a beautiful way for us to get to know each other before the wedding day while helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They’re relaxed, fun, and a great confidence boost before your wedding.
